Role Of Women : Peaceful Abode

Allah says in the glorious Quran,  “And Allah has made for you in your homes  an abode of peace.” (C hapter 16 verse   80) .  Ibn Katheer  said here Allah is mentioning his complete blessing to his  slaves;   He has given them homes which are a peaceful abode for them to which they retreat as a h e aven which covers them and gives them all kinds of benefits .  The home makes  a significant  part of the huma n civilization,  an abode of peace . WOMEN: DEPRESSED & DISSATISFIED

Now a days from every side we only find one thing, that is depression or anxiety. This is a story of every home; husband, wife, children, all have been consumed by depression. In fact women are becoming more victims to this disease than men. We are living in a technology age with all types of facilities available, but still dissatisfied with everything available. We are dissatisfied because of two reasons; we go far away from our religion and we (women) are more ungrateful to our husbands. We invited the depression and lost the peace. Allah says, “And whoever turns away from my remembrance to him there will...

TRUTHFULNESS

Allah says,  “The believers are but those  people who believed in God and His M essenger without ever feeling doubt there after and strive with their souls and possessions in the way of God; those are the ones who are the truthful.”  ( 49:15) . Telling truth and avoiding lies are the two important characters of an ideal Muslim. Truthfulness pla ys an important role in Islam; b ut  we have , in general,  restricted it to something about truthful tongue.  We  think that we are truthful because we are true to our words, true to our dealing, keepin g our promises and more like that. It is because  we have restricted truthfulness only to these things. But it is a wide issue. Islam ,  however, teaches that truthfulness is far more than having an honest tongue. Sometimes we act as the biggest liars, but  don’t realize it. One of these lies is that when we give the testimony of our faith  i.e. Oneness of Allah and that Mo...
